In celebration of the Town's 300th anniversary, the Needham Historical Society is hosting Needham’s Walk Through History, a unique fundraising event, on Sunday, October 2, 2011. Repeating our successful event of last year, the Needham Historical Society invites participants of all ages to walk, ride, or drive through a magnificent tour of some of the major historical attractions of the Town.
Since 1915, the Needham Historical Society has celebrated the history of Needham and the accomplishments of its residents. Through exhibits, programs, publications and outreach to the schools and community groups, the Needham Historical Society is committed to preserving and sharing this unique legacy. To support its ongoing programs and services, the Needham Historical Society relies heavily on fundraising events such as Needham’s Walk Through History.
Below is a list of the Sponsorship levels and marketing opportunities for Needham’s Walk Through History that will provide you with valuable exposure to our membership and to the greater Needham Community, while funding the Society’s critical mission. Historical Site Sponsorship - $200 (see Map and List)
Sponsor an historical site along the route, which runs through the town center. This is the perfect opportunity for a business, organization, or resident that is currently situated near a location highlighted on the tour. Other Sponsorship Opportunities:
In addition to the above sponsorship opportunities, the Historical Society is seeking donations of refreshments for the historical areas as well as prizes for participants. In exchange for an in-kind donation, you will be acknowledged on signage associated with the donated items and will receive recognition in the Historical Society Newsletter.
