| St. Joseph's Parish was established in 1890 as a mission church, and was housed in the former Evangelical Congregational Chapel on Chapel Street. This structure was built on the corner of May Street and Highland Avenue in 1891, but burned down in 1913. The present St. Joseph's Church is the fourth structure on the site. |
